ASP World Tour Back to China

There is so much money in China so it’s no surprise that professional surfing is trying to tap into the Chinese market.

So for the second year in a row, the ASP 4-Star Hainan Classic will happen in China. Last year’s winner Glen Hall is pictured above.

Competitors for the $95,000 prize will include Sunny Garcia. Interestingly, the article mentions Garcia’s Chinese ancestry as his great-grandfather was Chinese.
